Her journey began in the hotel industry, where she worked as both a Catering Manager and Group Sales Manager within Marriott. Those roles gave her a true appreciation for hospitality at every level and taught her that the little things really do matter. Knowing your clientele, understanding your clients’ needs, building trust with hotel partners, and always looking for ways to make someone’s experience better have remained priorities throughout her career. For Joy, treating every guest like family has always been #1.

For the past 10 years, Joy has focused on the housing and travel industry, while also bringing experience in accounting and contracting to her work. She specializes in group accommodations, tournament travel, special events, and event housing, creating seamless travel and housing experiences for teams, organizations, and their guests. She genuinely enjoys the logistics that go into bringing a tournament or event together and takes pride in making what can often feel complicated feel easy for everyone involved.

Travel is truly in Joy’s blood, and it has become a huge part of her family’s life as well. As a military spouse and mom to three traveling athletes, she understands firsthand the challenges that come with traveling for sports and events. That personal experience has given her an even greater drive to make the process easier and more enjoyable for parents, athletes, teams, and families like her own.

Sports is a big part of Joy’s world, and experiencing travel from both sides, professionally and personally, has been incredibly valuable. Seeing firsthand what works, what doesn’t, and the pros and cons of different hotels, destinations, amenities, and event experiences gives her a unique perspective when serving her clients, hotel partners, brands, and local CVBs.

Whether traveling stateside or overseas, Joy and her family have visited more than 20 countries in just the past four years. All of that travel has only deepened her love for discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, trying local food, and finding the hidden gems that tourists don’t always get to experience. It has also given her an appreciation for how much the right hotel, the right location, and the right experience can impact an entire trip. And yes, she is always traveling with her laptop in hand!

Joy loves experiencing different hotel brands and amenities, exploring new destinations, visiting hotels firsthand, and noticing the small details that can turn an ordinary stay into a top-notch experience. She understands that a hotel is so much more than a place to lay your head, especially when traveling with a team, a family, or a large group. The experience starts with the reservation and continues through check-in, the stay, the event, and the journey home.

Joy believes the best hospitality is about much more than finding a hotel room. It’s about relationships, trust, communication, attention to detail, and making people feel genuinely cared for. Her goal is to be the person clients and partners know they can count on from the very first conversation and planning details all the way through the trip and beyond.
